1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kartochka mobile application and website at kartochka.app, operated by Arabcell FZCO ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates.
By downloading, installing, or using Kartochka, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Who can use Kartochka
Kartochka is intended for use by adults aged 18 or older who are parents or legal guardians of the children whose health records are entered into the app. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have legal authority to manage the health records you enter.
3. Free and premium features
Kartochka offers a free tier and a premium subscription:
- Free: 1 child profile, full access to vaccination tracking, growth charts, milestones, and doctor visits
- Premium: Unlimited child profiles, PDF health report export, cloud backup, and partner sharing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
4. Free trial
We may offer a free trial period for the premium subscription. The trial duration is displayed before you begin. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial period ends. You can cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
5. Your responsibilities
When using Kartochka, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the children in your care
- Keep your account credentials secure (if you create an account)
- Use the app only for lawful personal purposes
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute any part of the app
- Not use the app to store information about children who are not in your care without proper legal authority
6. Not a medical device
Kartochka is a personal organisation tool. It is not a medical device, clinical decision support tool, or substitute for professional medical care. The vaccination schedules in the app are provided for informational reference only.
Do not make medical decisions — including whether to vaccinate, delay vaccinations, or change medications — based solely on information in this app. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional.
7. Intellectual property
The Kartochka app, its design, code, and content are owned by Arabcell FZCO and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The health data you enter into the app belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arabcell FZCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kartochka, including but not limited to data loss, reliance on vaccination schedule information, or app unavailability.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using Kartochka at any time by uninstalling the app and, if applicable, cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Local data remains on your device unless you delete it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE, unless otherwise required by the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
